For the first time in 7 years, the BMHS Lady Bombers basketball team advanced to the district finals and the Region 1 Mercy Hospital Tournament. Going into the tournament as the #3 seed, the Lady Bombers upset Mayfield in the opening round by a score of 42-38. They did not have the gas remaining in the tank in the finals and fell to the Graves County Lady Eagles by a score of 66-27. Neveah Yates and Kate O'Neill were named to the All-District team.
The Lady Bombers drew Carlisle County in the regional tournament. After splitting the regular season match-ups, the back and forth game turned into a heart-breaking loss for the Lady Bombers 50-47. The ladies in green ended their season with a 16-16 record.
