No-No No. 2! 

Konner Myatt followed up his perfect game on April 18 with a 7-inning no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Calloway Co on April 25. The only runners who reached base came via infield errors. He has currently faced 41 straight batters without a walk or a hit.

All A Region 1 Champs! 

With an 8-0 win over Mayfield on April 12, the Lady Bombers softball team won the Region 1 All A Championship for the first time since 2014. The BMHS squad will play in the state tournament on April 29 & 30 in Owensboro.

Absolute Perfection! 

Konner Myatt pitched a 5-inning perfect game in an 11-0 district win over Mayfield on April 18. It is only the second recorded perfect game in Region 1 history.

Tennis Hosts St. Mary 

After beginning the school year with one returning player, the tennis team has grown to 14 players. They hosted St. Mary on April 13 and picked up wins in two boys doubles matches and two singles matches.

Bombers Best Fan Recognition 

As part of our celebration of Bombers Best, we honored our BMHS basketball Super Fan, Rodney Leigh, on February 13. He has been a fixture in our gymnasium for over 45 years and loves all things Bomber basketball. The teams presented him with a signed ball

Bombers Best - 1998 Golf Team 

The only team to ever win a non-classed Region 1 Title, the 1998 Boys Golf Team, was honored on Feb. 10. The team beat the favorite St. Mary by a single-stroke with a 312 team score. Pictured are Kyle Yancey, Austin Trice, Frankie Cage, and Tyler Powell.

Boys Basketball Earns 20-win season 

For the first time since 1982, and for only the 5th time in BMHS history, the boys basketball team won 20 games in a regular season. With their 79-68 win over Trigg County on February 16, the Bombers ended their regular season with a 20-10 record.

Basketball Seniors Honored on Feb. 10 

The seniors on the Lady Bombers and Bombers basketball teams and senior cheerleader were honored during the final home doubleheader on February 10.

Birney Joins the 1,000 Point Club 

On this lay-up in the 3rd quarter of the January 21st win over Carlisle County, Jace Birney (#13) scored his 13th point and became the 13th member of the 1,000-Point Club in Bomber Men's Basketball history. He finished the evening with 19 points.

Lady Bombers Fall in a Close Game at Home 

The home season began with improvement against the region's #2 ranked All A girls team, the Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles, but ended with a tough 48-40 loss to for the Lady Bombers. The BMHS ladies fall to 8-6 on the season.

23 Begins with Big Home Win for the Bombers 

The Bombers began their 2023 home schedule with a 96-64 win over the Christian Fellowship Eagles on January. With the win, the Bombers are now 10-5 on the season.

Bombers Best - Last 3rd District Champs 

The 1992 Bombers boys basketball team was the last team to win the 3rd district championship. Members of the team returned and were honored with a reception and on-floor recognition on December 10.

Tourney Champs!! 

The Bombers Boys Basketball Team defeated won three games, including a 51-46 win over St. Mary in the finals, to win the 2022 St. Mary Christmas Classic.

Bombers Win Season Opener 

Jerico Wilson makes a fast break pass in the Bombers' 84-73 win over CCA on December 2. The win moved the Bombers to 1-0 on the season and was the first career win for head coach Zach McDaniel.

Glisson Wins All A Title 

Freshman Madison Glisson shot a one-over-par 73 at Drake Creek Country Club on August 19 to win the Region 1 All A Tournament. She will compete in the state tournament in Richmond at the University Club at Arlington on September 10.

Bombers Fall in OT Loss 

The Bombers suffered their first district loss of the season in a heartbreaking 73-71 loss to Graves County on December 15. A last second half-court bank shot turned the 1-point Bomber win into the tough loss.

Bombers Best Honored on December 2 

Members of the 1982 BMHS boys basketball - who most consider the best ever for the school - were honored for the 40th anniversary of their First Region Runners-up finish on December 2. (See related story.)

Bombers Best - 2021 VB Team Honored  

The 2021 Lady Bomber Volleyball was honored on January 6, and the banner displaying their Region 1 All A Championship and State Final Four accomplishments now hangs in the Green Palace. The team finished the season with a 32-6 record.

Bombers Advance in All A Tourney 

The Bombers offensive execution and rebounding partnered with a smothering defense to produce a 79-52 win over Hickman County on January 10 in the first round of the All "A" tourney. They will play Mayfield at Mayfield in the semi-finals on January 13.

All A State Champ! 

Madison Glisson is the Kentucky All A girls golf champion, securing the title by shooting an even-par 72 - two strokes better than her closest opponent - in Richmond, KY on September 10.

VB Season Ends is District Opener 

The Lady Bombers' volleyball season ended in a 4-set loss to Mayfield in the opening round of the 3rd District tournament on October 18. BMHS ended its season with an 11-14 record.

Title Run Ends in All A Semi-finals
