The annual Memorial Bowl football game will be played on September 10 at 7 PM at the Bomber Football Field.  The opponent for the night's game will be the Fulton County Pilots.

The event captures the spirit of our school's name in seeking to remember those service men and women who have passed and to honor those veterans who are still living.  Veterans and one guest will be admitted free to the evening, and a free meal will be provided for those guests at the field at 5:45 PM.  All veterans in attendance will be honored on the field prior to the start of the game.  Prior to the National Anthem we will observe a moment of silence, followed by the playing of TAPS live.

Recruiters from all branches of the military will be in attendance, and they are bringing the flags of their branch that will be flying from the back of the stadium throughout the evening.  A representative of the Kentucky Veterans & Patriots Museum will be in attendance, as will members from the HUGS project in Paducah, which seeks volunteers and sends care packages to active duty military.

The public is invited to join us for a fun night of football and a special night of honor for those who have served to keep our country free.  Tickets may be purchased in advance online through the GoFan website (Search for Ballard Memorial High School, and then select the event.)  Online ticket prices are $4/adults, and $3/students, plus applicable online convenience fees.  All tickets at the gate will be $5/person for school age children through adults.
